At Atlas & Hall, L.L.P., we are committed to our clients and our community. Our attorneys are actively involved in our South Texas communities in civic, political, charitable, and professional activities. Seven of the firm partners have served as president of the Hidalgo County Bar Association. Their peers have recognized eight partners as Super Lawyers in their area of practice, and three of our partners under 40 years of age, have been recognized statewide by their peers as Rising Stars.

There are approximately 1200 practicing attorneys in the Rio Grande Valley. Only five of these 1200 have been elected into the American College of Trial Lawyers, which recognizes lawyers who are in the top one percent of practicing lawyers in their field. We are proud that three of the five practice at Atlas & Hall, L.L.P. We are just as proud of our two attorneys who are members of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (of which there are only five members in the entire Rio Grande Valley).

Our firm members have served or are serving on the Board of Regents of The University of Texas-Pan American and South Texas College, various committees of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, the board of directors of the State Bar of Texas, the boards of directors of various banks, corporations, and hospitals, and the boards of directors of various charitable and cultural organizations such as The University of Texas Law School Foundation, The Alumni Association Executive Committee of the University of Texas School of Law, the McAllen Rotary Club, the International Museum of Art and Science (formerly the McAllen International Museum), the McAllen Opera Guild, the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Cancer Center, the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation, and the Museum of South Texas History (formerly the Hidalgo County Historical Museum). Additionally, every year we provide hundreds of hours of pro bono legal services.
