VALORIE C. GLASS is a litigator whose practice encompasses all labor and employment related matters, including labor and employment litigation in federal and state court and administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission-Civil Rights Division, and the Texas Workforce Commission. Valorie also regularly counsels employers on employment issues involving federal and state employment and labor laws.

She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts with honors. She subsequently taught for several years in public schools and obtained a Masters of Education from Pan American University. She earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law with honors. Valorie interned with Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan Hecht prior to graduation. She subsequently received her Board Certification in Labor and Employment Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.

Valorie is a member and the current Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Texas State Bar. She is a member of the Hidalgo County Bar Association and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. She is currently Co-Chair of the Hidalgo Cameron County Labor & Employment Section. She was selected as a Texas Super Lawyer for 2003 - 2010, Law & Politics/Texas Monthly. Valorie is a frequent speaker and author of several papers on labor and employment issues. Valorie is married and has two daughters.
