ROXELLA T. CAVAZOS is a Board Certified labor and employment law practitioner  who represents employers in federal and state court litigation, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings before governmental agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Texas Workforce Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and National Labor Relations Board. She handles lawsuits involving labor and employment issues, such as discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, ERISA claims, and non-compete agreements. Roxella's practice also includes counseling employers on employment decisions and policies, compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws, and conducting internal investigations.

Roxella grew up in Laredo, Texas.  After graduating from law school, she clerked in federal court and then commenced private practice in Houston. Roxella became Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She was a partner with Thompson & Knight LLP in Houston before joining Atlas & Hall in January 2008 to relocate to her native South Texas.

Roxella is a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the Texas State Bar and American Bar Association.  She also is a member of the ABA Sections of Litigation and Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice in which she serves in leadership positions. Roxella has published papers, authored chapters for books published by the ABA, and spoken at ABA national conferences and other state and local programs.
