DANNY GURWITZ - born McAllen, Texas, March 7, 1968; admitted to bar, 1993, Texas. Education: The University of Texas (B.A., 1990; J.D., 1993). Member, Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Member, University of Texas Law Alumni Association Executive Committee (2002present). Past-president, Hidalgo-Starr Texas-Exes. Trustee and past chairman, Museum of South Texas History. Board Member and Chairman, City of McAllen Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Mr. Gurwitz has been engaged principally in litigating all types of lawsuits, including: commercial disputes, personal injury suits (including those involving products liability claims, toxic torts and others), construction defects, insurance coverage disputes, patent infringement, and employer/employee disputes (including wrongful termination and enforcement of restrictive covenants).

Danny was named a Texas Rising Star (lawyers 40 & under) for 2004 - 2007 by Law & Politics/Texas Monthly magazines. Except for his seven years in Austin, Danny always has lived in McAllen. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two daughters Emily, Katy and a son Jack.
