    DAN WORTHINGTON is a litigator and has represented defendants and plaintiffs in various litigation with a focus on premises liability, personal injury and commercial disputes.

    Dan received his B.A. from Pan American University in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1992 (President, Admiralty Law Society; Phi Delta Phi).

    Dan has been a speaker at several legal seminars and is the author of several papers, including, Let’s Make a Federal Case Out of It, TADC Spring Meeting, 2003; Strategic Use of Pre-Trial Motions, HCBA Advanced Civil Trial Seminar, 2002; Eminent Domain Law Update, HCBA Advanced Civil Trial Seminar, 2003; and Insurance Law Update , HCBA Advanced Civil Litigation Seminar, 2008.

    Dan is a native Texan and served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1989. He entered the military as a Second Lieutenant and achieved the rank of Captain. He trained at the U.S. Army Infantry Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia, earned his Parachutist Airborne badge, and was the Honor Graduate of the Joint Deployment Officer's Course. He was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

    Dan has been married to Jeri Lynne Worthington since 1985 and they have three children, William, Matthew and Danielle.
