CHARLES C. MURRAY, a partner in ATLAS & HALL, L.L.P., has over 35 years of experience in litigation. The focus of his practice is complex commercial litigation.
Chuck received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1968 and his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1972 where he was an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. Chuck was admitted to the Texas bar in 1972 and has practiced with Atlas & Hall, L.L.P. since that time.
Chuck was named a Texas Super Lawyer for 2005, 2006 & 2007, Law & Politics/Texas Monthly magazines.
Chuck's professional memberships include the following: Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers; Fellow, Texas Bar Foundation; Member, Hidalgo County Bar Association; Member, American Bar Association; and Member, Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He has served as vice president and director of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, a director of the Texas Law Review Association, a member of the State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an officer of Hidalgo County Bar Association, a director of the Texas Law Alumni Association, a member of the District 12 B Grievance Committee, and a director of the Texas Bar Foundation. Chuck has been a speaker and author at numerous continuing education seminars for attorneys on topics such as class actions, the defense of legal malpractice claims, and the defense of claims under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
